I use a Siccce pump in the sump of my 180 gal
View attachment 1506855
I find it to be very quiet, and I like that it is set up to be either hard plumbed with PVC, or used with a hose.
It is fairly energy efficient, and doesn't;t put out a lot of heat.
Below is a video of it running on my 180.
Flow
I have also used Mag Drive pumps, which I found to be noisy and put out a lot of extra heat.
And have used Laguuna that were less noisy and worked well

I've used mag drive yrs ago (15-20)
Was a good pump, I remember them being costly but it held up for the yrs the tank was running,
I will look into this sicce pump, (never seen it)
But I've had some quality stuff come out of Italy.
Thank you for the insight duanes.

I have been using a Current USA DC Flow Pump.
I like these pumps because they have a knob to control the flow. Very easy to adjust if you want to help clean out the tank and lower in evening for low noise.
These are not wave pumps. They have increased in price about 25% in last couple years (inflation). Appear to be high quality. Have had one for about 3 years.
I also have Aqua Excel pumps in another tank. Fairly good quality but I did have one give up after 2 years. My other 2 have been doing ok for 3 years. A bit quieter than the Current USA. I don't use the wave function on these pumps.
As a side note on Hygger, I use their titanium heaters which I really like. Much better than the old titanium tube heaters I used to use. So Hygger may have some good stuff.

This was a brand I had look Into,
Appreciate the feed back!
Is the flow nice and strong at the returns?
I believe this is a 1350gph pump
Currently priced ar $99
Flow is good. I may remove one return to increase the flow. Yes, it is the 1350gph. It was on sale for near what the 900gph pump cost that wasn’t on sale and too much pump is always better.

I really like jebao pumps. They are powerful, relatively quiet, and reliable for their price point.

I would just get two of the jebao dcp series pumps of appropriate size and cost for your needs. I would go 2x Dcp8000s or larger or just one dcp-15000 if you wanted just one. I always shoot for way more pump than needed than just dial back the flow as low as I need it which improves pump noise and reliability ime.

Agree…Jebao DC pumps are a great value

My rack of 29g tanks runs a 100W Jebao DC at 1/3 output, I think. If I beef up my drain system I will be able to up the flow.
It is quiet and I have had zero issues. I have been running it for 2yrs and it was used when I acquired it.

I've got a couple jebaos running on tanks, 4 all together. The biggest is a 15000 running at about 70% on my 300g pond. More then enough. The others are smaller two 8000 on my 125s 1 running at about 70% with a head of about 6' the other 40% at a head of maybe 4'. The 15000 is 3 years old running constantly.

Very good to know, I was hesitant on the Jebaos, but I'm seeing many postive reviews
