So unfortunately nearly all the fry swam through the grate of the breeder box as I guess they were small enough and were eaten by my Cuban x HRP fry in the main tank. But 8 or so fry seemed to have stayed in the breeder box and I think they are just the very few that were too big for the grate of this very young now week old batch. So I’ll be sticking with those few and hopefully raising them all up successfully. I’d just get another batch but after I pulled the fry originally I quickly separated that pair and replaced that setup with other growout fry that needed a tank upgrade. I guess I’m ok with it. Obviously sucks but it makes the selecting and culling job a piece of a cake and much easier on my ocd brain. Just got too stick with these ones. I’ll keep updated.
