What are you looking for in a cat? Good cleaner? Good to look at? Size?
I haven’t had too many but my favorite is my raphael. It doesn’t come out often but does look good and and cleans up messes well.

My favorites are the Amazon bumblebee catfish, the banjo, and striped Raphael.
Thanks and I have a featherfin that is closing in on 8in but I am getting a large ish tank roughly 300gal I think what catfish can thrive in a 300gal that is predatory
Are you looking for it to be the only fish in the tank or compatible with others? Something like a jelly or electric cat would work as solo fish, but a tsn would be better with other fish.
Disclaimer, I have no experience with any of these fish or their true tank size, just going off of what I see others having.

I’m pretty sure the smaller tsn’s will do well with others but I can’t really comment for sure.
