Hey guys, I have about 200 CONVICT CICHLIDS!!!! This is more than I am prepared to grow and keep. I have had to upgrade tank sizes just to accommodate all these little guys! I have different sizes ranging from 1/2inch to 1 to 2 inches long. They are absolutely stunning! They're colors are BEAUTIFUL and their fins are so elaborate and just gorgeous. I want/ need to sell some of these guys. I can properly sex them for you if you need a male or female combination. I have become fairly knowledgeable about their origin, natural habitat, dietary needs, tank requirements, water parameters, filtration needs... Etc. They are not a very hard cichlid to raise and they are a great hobby fish to keep. They have a great personality and if you have the right tank conditions they will breed fairly easily and quickly. Watching the process is just breathtaking!

Yesss..... Unfortunately I had no idea they would reproduce this much when I turned up the water temp with the hopes I would have some offsprings. But 200 convicts later and I'm over the deep end! I don't know what to do besides trying to sell them at a cheap price. The LFS's in my area said they take them as a surrender and use them as live food for other fish. Yes some of them are pretty small 1/2 inch or less. But some of these guys are already reaching 3/4 inches. I just couldn't surrender them for that, especially when they sell they're convicts at 3/4 for $100! Outrageous and absurd!

Wait I'm confused, how are they sellling convicts for 100? Where do you live?
