Albino Gar

My dream fish was a platinum florida gar but I bought an albino one recently . Its a lovely thing only about 11" so a lot of growing to do. It eats like a pig which is a good thing

Can't wait till its a fair bit bigger as I can imagine it;'ll look more stand out then

I was out of my comfort zone paying for it and a bit neurotic over the lids now but I have wanted one for ages and I just hope it grows nice and big and looks ace in the tank

I'll upload some pictures later. Its grown a fair bit its about 13" now eats like a pig and thankfully taking pellet as well. Strangely its never mixed with my 3 other floridas that are standard colouration. They stay together and he's always on his own which is bizarre

You may have posted this info elsewhere, but what can you tell me about your set-up? Tank size? Type of filtration? Water change schedule? What type of Asian Aro is that? Super cool looking system & residents you have there mate!
