Trimac With Black Spot Sexing

Is it possible for male trimacs to have a very small black spot on top dorsal fin?

I have a female in a different tank that has the noticeable black spot.
The other one has a smaller black spot but slightly faded.

I know how to tell them apart, but is it rare to have a male that has a small faded black spot?

It's a hard picture to take as it's timid, but has slight hump on forehead. Unless I physically remove on water change day to vent.

But there is a slight small black spot on top fin.

I once had 3 female Trimacs. The most dominant female that was housed with a couple of other subordinate CAs had a slight little hump on her forehead. By no means prominent, only slight. But it was there.

I can't say with certainty I've seen it, but it wouldn't surprise me to see females with a faded dot that you can barely recognize or male with a discolored path that could be mistaken for the classic female dot. Most gender indicators on our fish are clear inductions when they are clear, but aren't always clear.

That's the only way I can get them lol

I get too close, it shoots to a hiding spot. So I have to pretend to look at the tank across from that trimac and zoom in
