How to sex Polypterus?

I have (2) Dels and (1) Endlcheri Emdelcheri

First question is how do I tell their sex?

Next question is can a del mate with the endi?
I don't think they can but I just wanted to make sure.

yes, anal fins. males have wider.

take a look here there is a vid in the 2nd or 3rd post maybe some of the people here have seen there bichir do this i havent seen mine do it yet but they are young

As far as the hybridization I would guess not. I have seen lap x endli hybrids but imo the likelyhood of a lower jaw crossing with an upperjaw seems pretty remote to me, atleast through natural means.
