I wanted to nominate RD for the above award because of his dedication to the site and his dedication and effort in passing on a wealth of knowledge. Since I got back into the hobby I have read books and endlessly searched the internet for helpful information. Above all sources I have learned the most from RD. He has saved countless fish when replying to questions on disease, nutrition, and water chemistry. Below are just some of the many links to info he has provided. RD also provides links for most of his suggestions where the information can be verified and better explained.

His threads on treating bloat and hex are passed along all over the internet mainly other forums which also gives MORE exposure to MFK and more than likely brings in new members.

Most of the advice us newbies or novice keepers pass along is mostly regurgitated info we have learned from RD.

I hope I have provide enough supporting info
Thanks for taking the time to review my Nomination.

Never envisioned you as a blusher, but rather an "FU all" persona. Either way, don't change and keep the info coming ;)

+1. I am certainly guilty of posting "read this post by RD", and I ask him when I need help with decisions that require experience and perspective.

And that's what makes RD's advice so valuable. He has lots of information gathered from sources that hobbyists don't typically use--and that's important--but, his judgement is flawless. That can only come from experience and sustained effort over time. That is rare and valuable to us all. I for one have benefitted from it and I am grateful.
