Aquarium Wall

Alright so not too long ago I was given a 100 Gallon tank. So I setup the tank in the upstairs of my house. I liked where it was at and all but I've always wanted to have a aquarium in the wall. So since I am now buying the home I thought why not. I mean come on! Who wouldn't want a aquarium in the wall of there house?? So anyways I proceeded to do so. But, instead of only doing one I decided to do two with a flat screen TV mounted between the two tanks.

Cost to redo the room and build the stands actually only cost me a total of $60.00 I had all the trim already. And I used the 2x4's from the walls I removed for the stands. And the grey paint I had leftover from when I painted my bathroom. So I had to purchase the blue paint $20.00 and I actually found enough carpet to do the whole room on craigslist for $40.00.

The closest tank is my South American tank with the following

• 2 Oscars "Albino and Tiger"
• 2 Jack Dempsys
• 1 Green Terror
• 1 Red Terror
• 1 Electric Blue Acara
• 1 Firemouth
• 1 Convict
• 1 Pleco

I will adding another 100+ Gallon tank for the oscars and a few more friends in the near future. Possibly in the same room that its located in now.

The further tank is my African Mbuna tank with about 35-40 mbunas.

Thanks! I plan on this room being more of a 2nd family room. Working on getting another TV, Couch, and a matching Chair for the room now. Should be within the next few weeks.

Trust me I would if I could in a heart beat. Lol but sadly I think I will gain fish and lose a girlfriend at the same time. Lol

Nice build. Your basement looks so similar to mine. I wanted to put a tank in the wall but figured I might move and didn't want to repair the hole. Great work, enjoy
