Added some salt , applied a small amount of salt lightly rubbed on the shell every other day

Some salt in water...calcium...and a higher ph for shell care on FRT's. #1 on the list is actually warm, clean water. I keep our 16 year old FRT at 82 degrees F. I've used betadine on occasion and an anti fungal wash applied via cotton ball outside of the tank. Be sure to not let meds get into turtles eyes. Let the turtle dry for 20 minutes. Gently wipe off shell with wet cloth. Return to tank. FRT's don't do well with having to support their own weight outside of the tank, so I used lots of towels underneath the turtle to help cushion the weight.
