So today I caught a Big mouth sleeper. Which from what I have been told is fairly rare. Was told I'll probably never catch one again.

Took the GF out prefishing and caught a few spotted bass. Nothing monster but a lb to 2lbs. A limit of 2lbers will win ya some money. She wasn't excited waking up early.

Previous girlfriends were like that but I think my current GF figured out that if she wants to stay with me fishing is a necessity, fishing is a requirement in the relationship. Any trip we take usually resolves around fishing at some point.

Got some pre-season Trout action this past week. Not numbers, but I'm becoming more and more of a streamer junkie, live for the strike.

Walleye and Sauger on the fly last night. 5/6 in three hours, biggest 22". SW deceivers and articulated leeches with an aggressive strip.
