Remember to measure to the base of a caudal fork with fish that have forked tails. This is the right scientific way of measuring total length to report in articles. Hair splitting here, perhaps 0.5" but can be significant with other fish.

He did not like this procedure at all. Was grunting the whole time. Sad that I had to rehome him. Tank is getting too small for all of my fish. I used to think that keeping 5-7 fish that ranges from 7-10" is okay for my size tank but i was wrong after seeing how cramped they get. So I made the decision to rehome 3 big fish to make room for the remaining ones. I still have my big blochii. I'm guess he's probably close to 11" as my dicrozoster is 10" when I measured him today.
