Hello, my new friends. I was wondering what piranha species you guys would recommend. I currently have a 100 us gallon tank, It has a couple Oscars at the moment. I do plan to get rid of them and get into piranhas, So I really want to know what species you guys recommend that you believe I would be happiest with. Please tell me whether it is a solo species or if it prefers a group, I also would like it if you filled me in on a little bit of information about the species you recommend to me. Thank you for the help. :^)

I think a few species may work as a single fish.

You'll have much better luck and people with the specific knowledge in the piranha section. Generally if your tank is 48x24x24 you can keep 5 maybe 6 red bellies or a solo black. Down side to red bellies they will sooner or later kill each other. Don't feed live, super clean water, watch your hands when cleaning. There are a few other species that the piranha keepers know more about, definitely check that section out.
