I haven't looked at it's vent. I have 2 that look almost identical. Size, body shape, and finnage. Every so often they will twitch at each other but never see a tube. Starting to think they are either both male or both female. Thinking female because Wouldn't they be bigger and show more of a hump if it was a male of over 2 years?

I think from what your saying they both seem female. At 2 years 6 inches a male would bigger.also if both male,then one of them would probably be dominant over the other and getting more food

That's how I feel. I don't know why the always twitch and shake around each other though. I feel like if they were both female one would at least lay some eggs

Really hard to sex chocolates unless they're full grown and you've one of each sex to compare. The male will be bigger. For example, a number of chocolate lovers said I had a male. Then she laid eggs all over the back glass! ;)
