Hello MFK I just noticed a gash on my flowerhorn that was not there this morning which leads me to believe this is not a disease but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask you guys in case it is something to be concerned about. What should I do? Water change/add salt?

Clean water and some salt will help. Monitor for now. Remove any sharp decor.

Keep posted for any changes.

Salt and water changes. Keep the water clean and watch for any signs off secondary infections and treat immediately if something shows before it could get worse. It doesn't look bad. Just something to watch

Yes thankfully it wasn't any worse but I'll be keeping a close eye.

Can't tell in the pic. A bit blurry. Something in the middle of it but can't make it out. Looks a bit wider area compared to the first pic. Move to a qt tank and get some triple sulfa and idoine flush into the wound.

Not sure but if it's getting bullied then advise to separate somehow. Stress won't help it.
