Peacock Bass with Datnoid

Hey guys sorry for bad picture but I just wana know if it's safe to leave my datnoid with my bass? The datnoid is slightly bigger then the bass as seen in pic but I'm worried he will eat the bass please advise

I changed my previous reply after looking at the photo a bit more.I do not think that the dat could eat any of those cichla.

I just added 4 peacock bass to my tank with a dat as well. The dat took an interest in them but since they won't fit in it's mouth it leaves them alone.

Be careful of small dats. One of my orino killed two dats. :-( dats are usually not a threat until 7".

Dats usually get extremely aggressive as they grow larger to the point where they won't leave the bass alone.

Okay thanks a lot guys for helping...I thought I would put my dat with my bass, because my dat eats anything and hopefully when my bass see the dat eating pellets they will do so as well so fingers crossed I guess o_Oo_O
