Thanks. It's a 150g tall. 48"L x 24"W x 31"T. Not the best footprint, but it was originally a Discus tank. It works very well for now.
why do you say that? I'm actually gonna buy the same dimension tank from petsmart next week.

Oscars are wider than tall, so wide tanks are better for them, where as discus are the reverse. I guess is what he is getting at.

Exactly. It is a great fit for the two Oscars and a few other smaller fish. I like having a few more fish in with them so I like the longer footprint. It really comes down to personal preference.

If you like the look and the tank, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it for two Oscars. It works very well for them.

I used to keep oscars years and years ago. I was telling my wife how much personality they have and while she believed me, she didn't fully understand until we adopted an ~10" one from the local fish store. She loves him.

I am pretty sure he was fed only feeders because I am having a tough time getting him to eat things that arent shrimp chunks.

I love my Oscars. They have so much personality. The ones that I currently have usually leave their tankmates alone, except during feeding time. They chase away the other fish until they are full. But, that is the exact reason why I have some of the other fish. When they blow food out of their gills the other fish eat it so it works out for all.
