Hey guys,

I've ordered three Polotas for my brackish setup, because I just couldn't do without at least one of the monster fishes I used to keep as i've read everywhere they are brackish.

I checked the sticky in this section to see if I could find additional infos, and it turns out it is listed as Freshwater... Granted they all are in the sticky!

Can someone please reassure me that I did not make a mistake?

Thanks!

Should be fine. They are caught in rivers and estuaries that are brackish.

Fishbase has it listed as a brackish water fish, so I guess it would be okay. Is it for your 6ft. brackish setup?

6.5' but yeah, I'm still experimenting, since I lowered the salinity a bit.
I can't find the plants that accept the higher salinity, and my young fish accept the lower range.
I tend to try them young and see which I like most! :)
