Hey guys I've been out of the fish hobby for about 7-8 years. I have a lot of experience with various fish ie. American cichlids, arowana, piranha, hoplias, cichla gars and many others but never had a channel sp. I recently decided to take a 30g tank my mum no longer wanted with the aim to find a suitable predatory fish. I managed to pick up a channa bleheri from a decent store. So far it's doing well. I'm keeping it at room temp 21c in a moderately planted tank with a group of Buenos Aires tetra. He's also feeding really well on chopped Lance fish, bloodworm and pellet. Any further advice would be great. Thanks

Nice little fish. See how he gets on, as long as he's happy, I wouldn't change much. If he gets upset, he might like a more densely planted area or some floating cover, but as long as he's happy.

You may want a little less light, and as previosuly mentionned, more plants, but other than that, he seems to be enjoying his home. :)
