I put the divider to where the heater stayed in the side with the eggs and the filter on the other side would the fry still slip thru the filter the cracks and get sucked they the filter ?
So they weren't trying to kill eachother she laid eggs! Now I need help hahha

The fertilizing by the male takes place while the female is laying eggs.. so after the day of laying eggs, the male is good to be separated..
My female beats the male away after he’s done fertilizing eggs. She’s very protective of the eggs and only want the male for the fertilizing.. they know what’s up
Make a save private hiding spot for female to spit her fry in when they hatch so she feels safe

This is important if you want no fry sucked up because they WILL if you dont; doesn’t matter where the intake is.. fry will get through any cracks with current pushing them around and momma digging for other fry 24/7
