I did get a new house, still keeping a 65g discus tank, im still trying to balance out all the money from house payment to all the utilitize and etc. then maybe i can get another big tank. We’ll see in the future but im aiming at tax return.

the first two years of home ownership is all about survival and not incurring additional expense. After you settle down you will get your tank.

I have two discus too. It’s funny that my two boys discus are super hardy when other fish tend to get sick easily.

Oh ya my fish gallery is still not done. Haha

My discus are hardy aswell, heard they are sensitive but i have couple of friends that they say they are hardy which i think they are, ive been only keeping them for two months tho so we’ll see. Hehe

I missed this group too and yeah the new house is a pain in the a**, did know having a total responsability is harder, no more parents to rely on on the bill, thats why my next target to get a poly tank is next years tax return but my wife wants me to get a big tank for the discus and put it in the living room to be a show tank.
And here are some pics of my discus

First i had black backround, sand and plants, but all of my friends said is better to remove the backround and go bare bottom so they will show more true color and wont camoflage with the surroundings, so i took it all out.
