I had a look online. IT doesn't look like Banjar red.He’s diffidently an Asian aro but 2ys and not showing any colors on it scale/gill plate yet idk? Not a red imo. Maybe banjar red?

Also one more question. I thought dark environment brings out the intense red colours in arowanas? That is why people blind the arowana or cover the tank in complete darkness to bring out the colours?Its a red arowana.

Yeah the really good ones dont require tanning ..not an expert but at 2.5yrs old... i would expect to see orange/red on some parts of this fish.. which i don't see on this fish..... so even if it is a red.. i am not too sure about the gene quality
if the genes is good... you don't tan you also will see color
