Channa maruliodes colour

Hii my kalimantan maruliodes has become so dark over the past week.. hes soo black that there is hardly any white or yellow.. previously it was very light.. why is the sudden change of colour? Will it get lighter again? It stays with a pulchra and couple of polypterus.. thank you

Its tail looks split and looks a like there scuffs on It's head is another fish harassing it? That would cause the color change due to it being stressed
