now that when they are mostly full grown ,i feed them every second to third day,fresh shrimp from the shop ,whole,chopped in big pieces,lying in fresh water in the refrigerator ,changing water on the food 2,3 times a day to get out the salt from the shrimp,dry food once a week,using vitalis pellets,work fine for me.had c.atabapo sp.2 .some years and they got the same food,very carefully to not get the fish to fat,and water change 70% a week.
