Came home to my new 65 gallon to this. I’m assuming that this corner was on the road to leaking or bursting? Looks like the silicon is being pushed thru on the bottom 6” of the tank. Any idea of what I should do next I.E. Reseal, or I’m over reacting which I do not think I am here. Any helps appreciated. Currently draining the tank.

Felt the interior seal and it felt normal compared to the others. Really not sure if I should keep it empty for a repair or continue using it.

I think it's unlikely the silicone is being "Pushed through" unless it hadn't actually cured yet.

But it's hard to see what's actually going on there, what it looks more like is that the seam just wasn't properly cleaned up and those are some drops of silicone that should have been wiped away when assembling the tank.

More I look I think it’s that. I think I’m paranoid since the tank was on carpet and thinking it’s uneven.

I would resilicon is

(Just go over first later)

Just to be safe and then take the stand and put level in it. Check it is is uneven and take care of that too.

You say it's new. Drain it, take it back, get another. You need peace of mind with a fish tank, bearing in mind the damage a faulty one can do.

Strongly considering this. I am going to refill halfway tonight trim the excess silicon and see what happens. I'm 50/50 if this was just a sloppy silicon job or something serious may happen. I'm supposed to have fish shipped next Friday and am in a pinch to have the tank ready. After touching the seal it feels 100% intact and fine but I do not remember seeing this prior to setting the tank up.
