hey guys! Brand new to salt water fish. I bought this anemone about a week ago and it seemed healthy as a whistle and seemed to love the tank. He was full of life and color. He started to move spots on his own and he found a spot. Sat in it and started to turn inside out today! Or outside in. Whatever it is lol anyways, what is up? I moved the rock to the original location and he opened back up! Now it’s night time and it’s turned inside out or outside in again. Any idea?

Thats not inside out. That's just closing up. They do that whenever they feel stressed, irritated, don't like the current or whenever they feel like it.

Maybe feed it something it wants to eat?

I wouldn't worry so much about feeding it immediately, they can go months without being fed easily, if they have good lighting. Give it time to settle in.

What lighting is best? Idk if I have that. I’m using a marinland led light but I think it may be freshwater and not marine. I saw a fluval marine late on sale for $100 but it’s meant for nano tanks. 5-10gallon. Mine is a 10gallon so do you think that would be plenty of light?

What's the wattage and specs on the light? 10 gallons is also probably on the small side to have the water quality and stability to support an anemone.
