Hey guys, I'm running into some issues with my pig of a sen. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves:

I'm rather concerned. Any ideas? I haven't fed for 24 hrs by this point

Maybe some of the sand/gravel. Start some Epsom salt 1tbsp per 5g. Would hold feedings for a week for now and re-evaluate.

Do some epsome salt as kno4te mentioned. They can go a week or more without eating. It should go down after 3 to 4 days. If not it's some kind of compaction. Belly bump can look like this if a poly is a pig, but disappears always by the next day.
I had similar concerns when I first got my sens. Same issue but if it goes away the next day or so it is just the poly being a pig. But if it persists a few days then I would medicate/feed peas etc.

On a thin bodied poly. Feeding chunks of fish/seafood will often leave multiple bumps like this when they're overeating. It happens to lower jaws too when smaller. Bump is suppose to disappear within 24 hours. If it' the same size after 48 hours, there's something else going on.

I'm only feeding pellets at the moment and I see this has slowly got larger. I'll have to get the fish out and see what's going on

Look for Rd's thread on treating hex . Soak the pellets in Epsom salt solution. My sen would get that from time to time

That’s another good option.
