USGS is great, but I can only see where a certain species is located, so I can only find something if I already know what it is. I'd like a list of the fish, plants and inverts of Southern New York, including invasives. I know no list can be great, because I find different fish/snails/bivalves/plants in different places, but I'd like a general idea of what I could find and what type of lake/river stream to look for different things in. Does anyone know of a list that goes by location?

Perhaps you could search by location on iNaturalist and see what people have reported finding there?
