Hey everyone! Right now I’m doing 75-80% WC every 5-7 days. I did one on Friday, today is Monday. it’s been 2 feed days so far- 3 to 4 days after changing-and I noticed two new things:
1) the del looks like she has the beginning of cloudy eye
2) the polli has a new white “thing” on her side. It appears to be a scrape or scales looking dull. What could this be from?
First thing I think of is water quality. Here are the test results:
Does The ammonia means there isn’t enough B.B., I fed too much, or there’s too much nitrate?
What do I do?
Seems pretty high after a 80% WC on friday(3 days ago). Is there anything that can be done about this in the 55gallon tank?
My intuition is telling me the bioload is too high for the tank. I have 4 polys that are 9-10+inch and the albino is 6.25in. I’m really wanting to upgrade to a 90g. My parents are pretty anti this until I get my own space again;however my main concern is the health and safety of my animals. Is the 90 gal a necessity at this point? Will that be big enough? Any advice would be appreciated.
