sea shells can help with hardness, also don't mollies like a bit of aquarium salt added to the water ? Or is that an old thing
Crushed oyster shell too.

yes oyster shell crushed would look nice spread over some of the bottom, would help to see dark coloured fish.

This would work for a freshwater pond I’ll try this
People put them in the filter or in some kind of container. May be too sharp and injure fish. Crush oyster shells can be found at feed stores for chickens.
Some people also put concrete blocks in the pond for the lime. I have casted dome covers for the bottom drain out of concrete for the mineral.

Tested the water today forgot to take a picture low carbonate hardness and alittle nitrate everything else is fine
