Just wanted to let you guys know, trinsfish.com, a site i've used multiple times (got my albino senegal here and several other fish i have in other tanks) just got a large shipment of bichirs in from rehobath. So if you are like me and haven't been able to get rehobath to respond to you, this is a good alternative. They also don't have a minimum which is nice. If you decide to order let me know on IM and i can share a coupon that will save you a little off the top.

I saw it suggested on a polypterid facebook group where several members was using it. Just curious if any of you have tried it. They say less odor than hikari

I don't know if some of that will sit well in the long term. I know that peas can cause digestive issues in fish, whether or not chickpeas or yellow peas will do the same, I'm not sure. There's just a lot of terrestrial ingredients in there.

I was involved in a conversation about other foods for fish and the consensus was leave the dog and cat food to the dogs and cats. After a few long time members had chimed in on the subject
RD. RD. being one of them he made alot of good points. I cant seem to find the thread atm. I'm sure he love me summoning him again lol.

There are a lot of misguided souls in the world, many of them keep fish, and many hang on facebook, youtube etc. Legends in their own minds.

Cat food, dog food, neither should be fed to fish, no matter the species. The link below is to the thread that twentyleagues is referring to, but I have spoken out against this numb-nuttery many times over the years.

Interesting read RD. RD. I suspected the advice was....suspect at best but figured I'd ask on here to be sure.

As far as a raw food, i know most feed tilapia from the grocer to their polys occasionally but i seem to recall a thread where you had spoken about not being the biggest fan of tilapia. That being said I can't find that specific thread now. Am i misremembering?
