Designing a sump for my 180 Gallon tank

I was leak testing and found a leak at the bottom of the overflow box.
The tank water was leaking to the overflow box from the bottom, within the glue.

Is this a problem need to be fixed since the overflow box supposed to be flooded and since I have a durso stand pipe?
Actual tank isn't leaking

Unless you glue the pipe in place, there "may" be a leak that could drain your entire tank in the event of a power failure.

Also, if your standpipe isn’t as tall as your overflow weir, then your tank will drain down to the height of the standpipe. This can definitely cause your sump to overflow. I think it has to be fixed.

So do I need to reseal the whole tank for this?
Or only the leaking area?

Also the overflow box is plastic I think is the silicon glue seal glass AND plastic together?

i don't understand.
new silicone does not bond with old one, but i only have to remove the silicone at the place of the leak?

I would remove all silicone on the leaking seam and reseal there. This should create the seal you desire

If that is where it is leaking, yes. If it is against the back glass, do it there. GL!

yes , water leaks from tank into the overflow box from the bottom of the overflow box.
