this is the second time my female has laid eggs, last time the male picked off all the fry before I could move them out.

Yesterday I noticed my female was guarding eggs that were laid on the underside of a leaf, they hatched yesterday as well. The fry are clinging onto a rock next to the leaf.

I moved the male and other female to another tank and left the female and fry in a tank to themselves!

The fry are definitely bigger, not by much but definitely bigger compared to the first couple of pictures

Guessing they are about a week old or just a bit older?

I’m going out of town for three weeks on Monday for work, might be able to come home on the weekends to do water changes, I have my brother feeding all the tanks, hope everyone does well while I am away!

Pretty sure the mother cannibalized her own brood!! I can only see 2-3 remaining fry.

On another note the male and female in the 30g had a brood as well!

Below is a picture of the first batch born oct 17th ish

Possibly the male ate them.
I took the male and second female out of the tank and left the brooding female alone with her fry....I think I may have seen 5 tonight....they don’t stay close to the mom like they use to
