I have 6 gars about 2 years now...
In the last month i saw something white growing (only on them.. i have many more fishes and everyone is 100% ) the white stuff is kinda wipe off when i do water change but this stuff is not remove 100% and its grow again in no time...
All my gars are eat and active. Sometimes they white stuff is going off from there gills.
I dont know what this thing is...
2 days ago one of my gars stop eating.. and the colors are abit fadded..
I added cuperamine to the tank and i salt dip one of my gars ( the one who stop eating)
After 5 min in the dip its seems 50% of the white stuff is gone.

Do anyone know what this stuff is ?
And what to do to remove this forever ?
Thanks ❤

1650 liter
0 amonia , 0 nit
7.8 ph
26.5 c
What’s ur nitrate? Would add the meds and monitor the fish. Keep nitrates down below 40ppm.

what's your PH just after water change and just before water change?

What's your water change schedule?

i used to have a comm tank and i seen similar things happening to my parrot fish and fire eel at that time.... i tested PH and realised that PH drop quite abit.... i solved the problem by placing a bag of coral chips in the tank and as filter media.

i was doing 50-60% wc every 3-5 days on a 800 litre tank

your tests are liquid test of strip tests?

How are you currently buffering your PH?
