You got a nice Phantom rtc Check out my phantom he non stops eats lol
Did you buy him as a phantom? looks more like a platinum, from what I've seen phantoms don't get the yellow
Very interesting, I'm assuming then that you're feeding him a high red diet to get the colors to pop?
i feed him just about everything shrimp, night crawlers , tilapia , small smelts the only thing he will not eat is pellets he’s picky when it comes to Hikari pellets ??
Being man/scientifically made theres no guarantee on their colors. Still no true account of a “platinum” rtc im aware of. Im not sure if the gold “xanthics” are real at this point either. Another fish species that has undergone the same “treatments” are alligator gar. Any u see that look “splotchy” color wise yellow/black etc…were made by science and not actual genetic mutations… im sure we’ll learn/see what happens to these fish as they grow. Could turn to normal pigment eventually. Very lame if u collect actual genetic color morphs ?…
We changed up the Diet a bit, adding more Salmon. You can see the color change - pretty cool.
