Unfortunately I've only seen clips of Larry's show It must not have been available in my area. Of the few clips I did see I was impressed without a doubt!

I met Paul Loiselle probably 8-10 years back when he spoke at a at a NJAS auction, really a nice guy. Was sad to hear of his passing last year.

Never thought about that but the show did seem similar, when Jeremy came out a bunch of clowns followed the big difference w them was they didn’t fish Jeremy could and did, regardless of some of the places he fished….
Without a doubt, for me, the most interesting people in the hobby are on this forum. I've been most inspired by meeting

, his setup was true /\/\onster and even the fanciest photos didn't capture the coolness and sophistication. And I had the pleasure to meet many other MFKers at the MFK Konventions, back in the day. I enjoyed dinner with

, he's much less grumpy in reality, LOL. Seriously an awesome down-to-earth guy with unbelievable (!) experience. And I mean UNBELIEVABLE. Ordering a freshwater sawfish is the epitome of /\/\onster! I'd like to meet these two guys again!
I wished I had met G guppy before he passed way.
If i could pick anyone else to meet, it'd be R rallysman . He hasn't been around in a while but he has a great DIYer spirit when it comes to filtration.

Thanks for the kind words! I still have 4 big Dats left, soon to be 17 years old. My oldest fish is a Synodontis angelicus named “Spot”. Its 26 years old now.
