You could really turn this into a 125 south, and central american cichlid community tank! I'm thinking Severums, Geos, Texans, Red Devils..etcc..

I think it should be fine. However, with cichlids it honestly depends on their personalities. If you're going to do it, try getting the largest angelfish you can find, as others have said.
