Some kind of algae (i think)recently blooming in my tank, never had this before, does anyone know what could be the cause? Or a good way of getting rid of it? The tank is 140liters and houses one singular Channa Pulchra, no heater is in the tank and the current temperature is 20degrees thanks!

Plenty of hiding spots, lots of plants and surface cover, Amazon frogbit is good for surface cover. They dot like a lot of flow so if you can adjust that to the lower setting that would be better. I have my Single Channa Pulchra in the same conditions, water changes are almost none existent I...

Tank is 130 litres, I have some vallisneria in it at the moment and it’s doing well, I would like to add some tall bushier type plants if you could recommend any hardy ones that do well.

Just wondering the benefits of c02 injection and a little information on them. Are they expensive to run? A pain to setup? Would you recommend a certain brand? Thanks in advance

When setting up new tanks I check water parameters every 2 days and do water changes where necessary. Yes taking a note of nitrites, nitrates and ammonia is a good idea as you know where you’re at then.
