I have Nerite snail eggs on my glass and driftwood. I've read that I have to move them to full saltwater if i want them to survive. Anyone here have any advice about that or how long they take to hatch? Im just going to leave them and see what happens. Here's a couple pictures.

my silicone is blue too. Damn ich meds! But... I was thinking it might be cool if you made a diy decoration and you "wanted" the silicone to be blue, you could soak it in ich stuff before you put it in the tank!

I think they are not armored like other plecos, I wouldnt put them with aggressive fish. They look super cool.

do you think this means i should do filter maintenance more often sense i don't have to gravel vac? If thats the case, when i do water changes do you think it might be better to siphon water from the bottom of the tank, or bucket it out from the top? or would it really matter?

Just thought id share how i made this monster cave with slate tiles and a plastic container. cut container in half. cut out eyes. glue on tiles. I break the tiles up on the floor in my garage till they are the right size. glue on some plants. Let the glue dry, then let it soak...
