I think everythings been summed up but in referance to the large frequent water changes breeders do that becuase thats what they have to do to get the discus to breed. Also they do it for best grow rate on disucs so they can sell them faster. The frequent water changes are nessasary thought

From personal experiance, my blackmask elong never really had a blackmask but was very active and was very aggressive. I payed 125 for a 5-6 inch blackmask. Id say get one.

Its bare bottom becuase both the discus and stingray need very clean water and a bare bottom rank is recommended for discus because it is alot easier to maintain

I keep my stingray with discus and the ray is buddys with one and is always around him. I tinhk it is possible to cohab the two. I havent had any discus stung yet(knock on wood).

im thinking the same thing. Piranhas are sexual dimorphic so unless youve seen it breed you cant tell.

i have bought piranha from pedro before but never stingrays. I have had only good experiances with aquascape. I think that his stingrays would be fine. Hes packs and ships fish very nicely.

im 15 and when i was like 7 my dad had a tank adn it got me into them about a year ago and now i got him back into the hobby so now our house is filled with tanks and my other brother who is 17 doesnt care about fish nor does my mother.
