The new tank is almost 200 gallons. 5ft long 3 ft wide 30 inches tall. I’m having a problem with pin hole leaks. I ordered max acr and it’s supposed to be easier to work with than pond armor. Also picked up this little guy last week and threw him in a 75 gallon for now.

I bought a green moray eel online and it died before shipping. Found another one but he is a giant. I decided instead of risking putting him in the 300 gallon I’d build a temporary tank to hold him in until I finish the 1800. Soooooo here’s my new build. My living room is getting pretty crowded.

My last day at my job is Friday. I’ll probably finish it next week.

I pond armored just the front all around the glass. The rest of the tank was fine. I didn’t do too much sanding. I don’t think it was really needed.

It worked better than I thought it would. Pond armor is amazing.

Thanks!! I’m just glad I knew how to fix it. Otherwise I’d have been really discouraged and would have sent the tank back and start over from scratch

People are such cowards. I decided to use the container my Pentair tank came in to throw waste away since my trash cans can’t hold it all and I was going to just get rid of it all week by week. I get it, it’s not pretty but I’m also remodeling my house right now and this was the most convenient way.

Pond armor works. Now I’m just plumbing the return pipes but the tank has held water for 24 hours no leaks. Better this happened now than later. Oh and Pentair is refunding me a 100 bucks. They didn’t believe my tank was leaking no matter how many pics I sent so they’re refunding me the pond...
