Anyone Excited For The Iphone 6?

People amaze me sometimes. We are called INSANE, stupid, wasteful by some for spending $1000+ on a quality fish. Always cop ''but what if it dies, what if it jumps out''. But when someone spend $1500 on something they can destroy dropping it 3ft from the ground and nobody bats en eyelid. :headshake

    My conjoint twin arowana

Looks like being joined as they are, hitting the size they have in the 3rd video with that much movement, twist and pivots on that tiny bit of skin joining them, if organ ruptures dont occur soon they most definitely will.

    True fish tank killer

Hahahaha, yeah when you gotta start pushing them away with a net so they dont attack the hose during a WC its starts to get scary. Mangrove Jack would be pretty much the most aggressive fish i've ever seen in a tank, although i've come across a few sootys and Barred Grunters that are just ANGRY...

Rescued silver aro-looks like it's been in a car wreck

Getting there my man! Very noble thing to do for that fish, there are always a bond between a fish and the person that keeps it, something like this only strengthens that. Looks positive for the silver atm and if he pulls through looks like you could be mates for while to come. :headbang2

After 40 years of fish keeping this is all I know

I've learned that you need to keep water, not fish. The fish look after themselves lol.

How do you afford so many tanks?

You have to have space, easy going spouses and patience. I got my 10.7x3x2 500gallon for $450. You just have to keep looking :) But you have to remember plywood build isnt a cheap way to build a quality tank.

What would you pay for this tank?

I paid $450 for my 10.7x3x2. Some people just want too much, have a look arounf im sure you can pick up a tank only clean 6x2x2 for 150-200, throw together a pine stand for $60, buy an fx5 and bobs your uncle.

    What is your dream fish?

Thought you were saying you couldnt keep them in a tank at all, not you didnt have space for them. My apologies. Not sure my statement was stupid though....

    What is your dream fish?

Actally being able to keep a PNG black bass is very possible, if you get a juvi around 5-10 inches, you could keep him in a 10x4 for atleast 5 years, maybe 10 depending on growth rates. Biggest every caught was 46lbs, so around 120cm. A 12x6 tank would hold one for life I would imagine. Lutjanus...

    What is your dream fish?

A Papuan Black bass, ''Lutjanus Goldiei'' Would most likely be the most aggressive, hard hitting thing you could keep in a tank.

My 180 Gallon Mangrove Jack aquarium build!

Around 30-40cm they tend to slow down a bit. But like I said every Jacks different, depends on water quality, water changes and feeding. Thats a good idea man, don't give up, i;ve upgraded to a 10.7x3x2, time and patience is your friend man. :)

My 180 Gallon Mangrove Jack aquarium build!

They max out at around 90cm or 35 inches. :) Will take them 10+ years to get him that big. They grow quick to start than slow down quite a bit.
