temporary. i'm moving again (and might move again in a year) and taking the fish this time isn't an option. i'll rebuild once i've settled down.

Last picture of him. Unfortunately, I have to break down both my tanks. I gave him to someone I trust. If I never take him back, he’ll live out his days in 200 gallon.

i didn't rinse mine when i put it in my 45 gallon. the water may have clouded a little bit, but i don't remember it being a problem.

when i worked at the motel in college, an elderly, senile man set himself on fire in his room during my shift. it was pretty gnarly.

the excitement of getting a big tank and being new to cichlids. have you looked into africans? a lot of cool fish on that side too.

green terrors are so awesome. I've always wanted to grow one out.

once my big guy bites the dust i would like to try keeping a smaller/medium sized fish long term. salvini has been at the top of my list for a long time.

i used to look for fake plants that i liked the look of but because i replace them every six months or so, i just buy whatever is on the clearance shelf. they end getting shredded anyways.

unfortunately not. a lot of awesome art work. betta fish or not. I've considered a betta tattoo before. i feel like its a staple fish keeping fish, but i have other "projects" to work on first.

ill add to my rant... (I've handled similar data first hand and teach this stuff) what makes a photograph a "real" photograph? how does a camera work? imagine you're photographing a dog... a film camera receives light, visible light received by the camera bounces off a couple mirrors and...

that too. all that hot gas and dust around the black hole definitely makes it harder to see. not only that stuff, but also all the gas and dust that exists between us and M87.
