@davenmandy, those dimensions are pretty nice to work with. Makes everything nice and simple. @JohnTr, you could always build the tank like an actual wall, and put insulation in to keep the heat in the tank..It might cost a bit more, but the tank would hold heat a lot better.

I think you will be just fine. Just be sure to rotate the tank around AFTER you leak test it. Hahaha I dont think you will run into that problem though, looks like you did a really good job with this one.

IMO, the piece of glass won't be necessary, and it might get in the way of the bead of silicone you put on the inside of the tank. But that is just me. I have never used that method with a new piece of glass in the corner, so I can't say anything from experience with that. All I know about is...

yeah sounds good. I used the marineland brand aquarium epoxy and only gave it 24 hours before filling, and it worked out well for me so you should have no issues. Acetone dries pretty quickly, especially when it is wiped on a surface. Keep us posted and make sure you put fish in your tank that...
