Ok thanks man just searched in the forums and seen they just tolerate it ...and produce a lot of ammonia...are there any freshwater rays that's will do good in a 125..with maybe a couple cichlids?

Anybody have any experience keeping these..and what tank mates are they compatible with?im a rookie to rays.just Tryna dip into something different

Just grabbed one of these for my 125...I got it to use as a power head but seen it could also be used as a circulation pump.Anybody here have any preference on which one works better

Was up guys...I been out the hobby for awhile,and I'm gonna start up my 125 gallon again. I was thinkin like maybe a true amp labiatus pair and a red pike cichlid..You guys think I could make it work if I got all fish as juviniles?or should I just stick with a labiatus pair

hey kinda new to plecos besides common plecos..Was interested in the care of scarlet l25 plecos...Ive read they are agressive...In a 125 gallon is it possible to co exist with cichlids like a red devil?

i had same problem with a red i had years ago..he was shyer then any fish i had,what i usually did was go in my yard,find a earth worm,drop it in center of tank.its natural to catch any fishes attention as somethin to play with or eat,ur rd will prolly stare from a distance then venture towards...

Id go with either a midas or reddevil,or maybe some green terrors.

Whats the minimum size tank for a blue dolphin adult,and the growth rate.they look like interesting cichlids.

here is a update on my 75 gallon which has one rd and a texas that surprisingly get along great.

i cannot sex this fish,but it is a nice looking specimen
