Fantastic shoots Hristo! How did the focus work out? I once used tamron 105mm macro and i didn't like the focus ring.

Agree on space around fish. Also try with faster times. Don't go under 1/90th

Hi pomi, i saw your aquarium on other forums and must say stones are briliantly placed in this aquarium :)

Composition is good, but the image is unsharp and it looks like you tried to use sharpening on unsharp image. Time is to slow so that's why you have unsharp image. Try pushing ISO a bit higher so you will get shorter time next time. You can also use f/4.0 to gain a bit more on shutter speed.

The best way for myself regarding the WB is to shoot in raw and then in adobe camera raw define the true white balance. On other type you can put a white dish or anything white before shooting and then select custom WB from you camera on a shoot where you had white dish inside :) That usualy...

Nice shoot, but why did you put ISO on 800 when you had camera on tripod. Try lowering the ISO to 100 and maximize the exposure ;)

I agree with Hristo. Especially last shoot is great for mobile background and for hangin on the wall! I want to look at it every day!

My alpha Uaru male is les than 7" long. Guess he's one of the smallest here :lol: But he's growing fast and i hope he will reach 10" one day

These guys are really magnificent. I once had an oportunitiy to shoot one with macro lens. I was shocked with it's beautifull armor :-) Oh and great macros mate

It means that image is overexposed. On some parts of your fish you can see a bit to much white color.
