    flower horn tank size help

I keep mine in a 110 gal. tank with 6 corys and a pair of bristle nose plecos. The flowerhorn is about 4 inches now and rules the tank. As active and ornery as he is (chasing the corys) the tank doesn't look empty. Besides they grow extremely fast when fed a little beef heart, will fill the tank...

    EBJD's

I have been breeding them for over 2 years, on generation 3. If you want quick growth feed beef heart daily. May have to cut Into smaller pieces but as they grow feed 1/2 cubes they absolutey devour it, or go with home raised feeders, guppies, ect. Here are some pics.

    EBJD Facts or Fiction?

I keep my breeding tanks and community tank at 81 degrees. Both breeders spawn anywhere between 21 and 28 days. Does increase aggression a bit but the blues are pretty laid back. The bgjd female breeders are the brutes even at 1/2 the males size.

Please help with Jack Dempsey breeding question. I have wigglers

The Air pump driven sponge filters are great, they won't suck up any fry unless they are dead. I keep 1 in the parent tank so it is cycled and can move it to a 10 gal. tank for the fry. The smaller tank makes it easier for the fry to find food. If breeding ebjd you want to save every one...

    EBJD Facts or Fiction?

Both male and female have red running along top of the dorsal fin. Females are duller overall in color and smaller. Males tend to have longer dorsal and anal fins. All of which takes time for the fish to grow before you can tell for sure.
