i have a 1" wide strip that is open.. the lids are multiple pieces the piece he knocked loose is the smallest one all the way to the right on the other side of the air gap

the tank is covered but the lids are just quarter inch acrylic.. it knocked the lid off.. i am going to start putting heavy objects on top

Reminds me of a friend that bought a red tailed cat for a 55 and 6 months later he put a 300 g stock tank in his garage with a filter lol

I don't have any photos of them right now I'll have to go for a swim and take some lol

Well, **** it lol I got in this to keep RTC's I guess I just thought I'd experiment and try to add tank mates

Or will I be fine if I just keep everyone well fed?

Do you think the RTC's will outgrow and eat them? Lol

The channel cats are around 7" and the bass are around 6

Well my water quality is holding steady 2 weeks after adding all the fish to the pond so I released another red tailed cat last night.. He's about 8"

I have had no lights on any of my tanks for years and all my fish do great.. The light is really only for our viewing pleasure or to grow plants

I think it probably would've been better to come to some sort of agreement before the purchase was made.. It always sucks losing expensive fish but it's a risk that we all take when buying livestock.. Sorry to hear about the fish bro

I am currently feeding 32% protein fish food, my minnows attack the hell out of it! Do the nutrients in the fish food get absorbed into the minnow and then absorbed into the predatory fish that eats the minnow?

The bass will be everyday inhabitants, like the RTC's, the oscars and the goldfish.. I'm just hoping the 2000 minnows I put in there will keep all my meat eaters happy for a while... Don't want the RTC's to eat my other predatory fish so best keep them occupied right? Lol I am also feeding 32%...
