For a sliver best to have at least 2.5f width. If you want to keep more then one, you could safely keep 2 silvers together. Silvers are tamer then asians so you'd most likely be ok. But a lot of supervision is required during the initial mixing.

can't tell them apart when they are young. you'll need to wait till they are mature enuff which takes years. even experts have problems telling them apart.
