Is it okay to feed dried salted fish to snakeheads? Any snakeheads, tho i plan to get myself a channa micropeltes soon. Ps its legal in my country

Nah, the temperature is okay i think. Idk the exact temp, but it is room temp as i kept them in a room(obviously).

Yes, i tried feeding them small earthworms and they happily ate it. I am feeding them small shrimps mostly.

Thats the word! Idk what the word is, now i know its retracted lol I dont think the temp is the case tho, but maybe it is stressed because of my tank. The tank is so small, it can only hold 3 bottle of mineral water.

I cant take any good pic(just my phone's camera), bit here it is: As you can(probably) see, its fin is "closed" (idk the proper word lol) and its floating on the surface. My camera always try to focus to my betta tank next to their tank. It drove me crazy lol

By behaving srangely, i mean that they sometimes swim around the tank quickly ever so often. They also sometimes float and remains motionless, even after i touch them. What has gone wrong?

Theres no pic right now, as i am away from home. I will try to asap tho, maybe on midday tomorrow (gmt+8 iirc lol). But the fin looks like it is closed(?)and they wont open them. They also look tired and thin (havent eaten for a week)

Regarding this. Will it really work? If it do work, i am considering to let them in my betta tank temporarily. But, i am afraid that they will fight each other. You know, siamese fighting fish is its other name lol. Is is okay to let the snakeheads inside betta tank?

I tried to feed them again today. Much to my surprise, they ate them! ... But, they spit the food out as if it was disgusting. Maybe the pellet is not to its liking? Should i change the type of the pellet? Or should i keep starving them? I am worried :(

16+ inches in a year?! Thats so quick! So its not long until i have some big snakeheads :) Btw, i have 4 of them. My friend said that it isnt good to keep them that many (he keep a pair of striata, a sibling). Why is that? He said that they will fight to death. Been 3 days since i let them...

Lol thats not really accurate. How long will it grow in a month assuming it is healthy and fed regularly? Sorry for being so persistent. ;) i just love snakeheads when i was still a wee child, but this is the first time i get to keep snakeheads as pet as my parents prohibit it :(

Also, how fast it will grow? Assuming it will feed on pellets and occasionally live foods.
